Our software factory is designed to deliver great quality at high pace. We expect that our QA automation engineers perform thorough testing activity regimens for multiple products and technologies and deliver work to a high level of quality.
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be working with the world’s top 1% talent people and be part of a team responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products by using the latest technologies and toolsets. Your work quality is measured through the First Time Acceptance Rate, which means passing the quality bar set by your leadership team.
Your daily activities will include setting up the test environments, automating test cases and performing manual tests if necessary.
A hiring event is a scheduled online event where all our relevant testing relating to a role is conducted on the same day. Submissions received during the event are graded the following week, and successful candidates notified if they have progressed to the next round which is an online interview with a Hiring Manager. Deliver a consistent high-quality software Testing services and ensure a goal of achieving 99% FTAR (First Time Acceptance Rate)
- Write test automation scripts following the defined internal standards
- Use multiples platforms like Jira, Git, Testrail and VDI2
- Debug and maintain test scripts
- Unit, integration, system, and regression testing
- Test documentation
- Integrating automation/performance tools into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo)
- Translate non-functional requirements into performance test scripts
- Create performance test plans, baselines, execute planned tests
- Adhere to performance metrics (CPU, memory, IO, Network, etc)
- Implement performance tests early in development using service virtualization, mocks or stubbing

We have developed frameworks that will be available for you such as for Cucumber, Specflow, Protractor, and CodedUI.
What can you comment about code review process at Crossover?
Code review is a mandatory activity for all automation work. We have clear guidelines and code review rules that each team member needs to comply. As an example on code specific, we have defined how to identify and avoid anti-patterns by indicating the maximum number of lines, fields, and methods are allowed.
How practical is this mandatory 4 weeks training for QA Automation engineer? Are we going to experience real day-to-day issues?
Our campers will be trained with real-life assignments. Just to give you an idea about the QA Automation program, you will start using JIRA and TestRail for particular projects and Jenkins Access to build jobs. You should also be reviewing code and taking it until the merger. Additionally, you will be getting a backlog of work and writing scripts.
How do you drive a team of QA engineers, located in different cities and time-zones, to be productive and deliver quality testing services?
