As a Database Chief Architect, what are the opportunities to learn and work with new technologies?
The learning responsibilities belong to you. However, we are here to provide support and adequate content to help you on your learning journey. To be able to work with new technologies, you will need to re-apply and take the specific tests on the desired technology stream.
How do you measure the productivity of a Database Architects team?
Every team in Crossover has a metric which they deliver against. By default, every person within the team is measured by the same metric on a weekly basis. For example, the metric for our software maintenance team is “number of bugs fixed.” The cost per unit of the maintenance team on a weekly basis is the total headcount cost of the team for a week divided by the number of bugs fixed during the same week.
How do you drive a team of Database Architects, located in different cities and time-zones, to be productive and deliver quality testing services?
One of our differentiators is that we know how to bring talented people together, from different cultures and time-zones. We have developed an online productivity tool that helps remote workers manage their time more efficiently and receive a fair working environment.
