eSports Coach   $150,000 USD/year

Description

TRANSFORM THE FUTURE OF ESPORTS COACHING – ELITE TALENT ONLY

Alpha is revolutionizing education, and we need a visionary eSports Coach to create unprecedented competitive opportunities for our students. This is not a remote position – we need your physical presence and energy at one of our Florida campuses (Tampa or West Palm Beach).

As our eSports Coach, you'll leverage your elite coaching abilities and passion for youth development to build championship-caliber teams. You'll operate at the intersection of competitive gaming, educational innovation, and leadership development – a rare opportunity to pioneer a field that's redefining both sports and education.

At Alpha, we've created a learning environment anchored in science and powered by adaptive technology. Now we need your expertise to extend this approach into competitive gaming – developing not just skilled players, but well-rounded individuals who excel in teamwork, strategic thinking, and performance under pressure.

We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a genuine growth culture. If you've consistently achieved what others considered impossible in coaching or team development, Alpha is your next challenge.

What you will be doing

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive eSports coaching program that aligns with Alpha's innovative educational approach
  • Training and mentoring a team of Guides to facilitate exceptional eSports learning experiences that develop both gaming skills and vital life competencies
  • Creating detailed eSports Playbooks that establish best practices for competitive training, team development, and tournament preparation
  • Providing regular, data-driven feedback to Guides to maximize student engagement, skill development, and competitive achievement
  • Directly coaching select student teams, modeling expert motivation strategies and championship-level preparation techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply supervising recreational gaming – you're building structured, competitive programs that develop measurable skills and character
  • Creating traditional academic curricula – your focus is on translating Alpha's learning system into the competitive eSports environment
  • Lowering performance standards – excellence is our baseline, and your role is to elevate students to meet these high expectations
  • Working in isolation – you'll collaborate with our educational experts to integrate eSports into our broader learning objectives

Key responsibilities

Train and develop a championship-caliber eSports program that implements Alpha's educational system with world-class excellence, transforming students into skilled competitors who embody our values of growth, teamwork, and strategic excellence.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in eSports coaching, competitive gaming, education, or related fields
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing innovative training programs that produce measurable results
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with proven track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Significant experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in competitive, educational, or developmental capacities
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to use performance data to drive continuous improvement
  • Willingness to work on-site at our Tampa or West Palm Beach, FL campuses
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
