Our students launch million-dollar businesses, create viral documentaries, and develop apps used by thousands. We're seeking a part-time college admissions expert to help these remarkable students leverage their achievements for admission to elite universities.

In this flexible remote role (5-10 hours/week), you'll craft winning strategies that showcase our students' world-changing work. Your expertise will guide students in creating compelling applications, educate parents on our proven approach, and demonstrate how real-world impact outperforms traditional academic credentials.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct monthly strategy sessions with students to maximize their projects' impact on college applications
  • Provide expert guidance on elite college admissions to students and parents
  • Articulate AlphaX's revolutionary approach in info sessions
  • Stay at the forefront of elite admissions trends, bolstering AlphaX's industry authority
  • Showcase compelling success stories that validate our groundbreaking methodology

What you will NOT be doing

  • Adhering to outdated admissions strategies fixated on GPAs and test scores
  • Committing to full-time hours or rigid schedules
  • Processing run-of-the-mill applications centered on basic extracurriculars
  • Overseeing day-to-day student project execution
  • Engaging in on-site work or travel

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record in elite college admissions, with a degree from a top 50 US university
  • Demonstrated success in guiding students into top 10 colleges through admissions, consulting, or mentoring roles
  • Comprehensive grasp of elite US college admissions, particularly for non-traditional applicants
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to cultivate trust with high-achieving students and their parents
