Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Are you ready to revolutionize software quality assurance? At IgniteTech, we're not just testing software—we're redefining the entire QA process with cutting-edge AI technology. If you're a QA automation engineer who's tired of playing catch-up with bugs and yearns to be at the forefront of proactive, intelligent testing, this is your calling.

We're seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our elite team. You'll be instrumental in developing AI-driven testing frameworks that don't just find bugs—they predict and prevent them. This isn't about running the same old scripts; it's about crafting the future of QA.

If you're passionate about leveraging AI to create flawless software and want to be part of a team that's setting new industry standards, keep reading. This role isn't for the faint-hearted—it's for those who dare to challenge the status quo and push the boundaries of what's possible in QA.

What you will be doing

  • Pioneer AI-enhanced test automation frameworks that learn and evolve with each iteration
  • Harness the power of machine learning to generate intelligent, adaptive test cases that cover even the most obscure edge cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven QA processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle, dramatically reducing time-to-market
  • Analyze complex data patterns to predict and prevent potential software failures before they occur
  • Lead the charge in implementing cutting-edge AI tools that revolutionize how we approach software quality

What you will NOT be doing

  • Mindlessly executing pre-written test scripts without understanding their impact
  • Spending hours on manual regression testing that could be automated
  • Filing bug reports that get lost in the backlog, never to be addressed
  • Struggling with outdated tools that can't keep pace with modern development practices
  • Being siloed from the development process, only to be consulted at the end of the cycle

Key responsibilities

Drive the evolution of our QA processes by leveraging AI to detect, predict, and prevent software defects, ensuring unparalleled product quality and accelerated release cycles.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QA automation, with a proven track record of implementing AI-driven testing solutions
  • Expert-level proficiency in Selenium and at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into QA workflows, with tangible improvements in efficiency and defect detection
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and ability to optimize these for AI-enhanced testing processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data patterns and translate them into actionable insights
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
