Quality Assurance Automation Engineer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

Are you ready to revolutionize software quality assurance? At IgniteTech, we're not just testing software—we're redefining the entire QA process with cutting-edge AI technology. If you're tired of outdated testing methods and yearn to be at the forefront of innovation, this is your chance to make a real impact.

As our Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you'll be instrumental in developing AI-driven testing frameworks that catch bugs before they even materialize. You'll work with state-of-the-art tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate intelligent test cases, and uncover hidden patterns in defects. This isn't just about fixing problems—it's about preventing them entirely.

Join us in creating a future where software releases are faster, smoother, and of unparalleled quality. If you're passionate about leveraging AI to solve complex QA challenges and eager to grow your skills in a rapidly evolving field, we want you on our team. Let's reshape the software industry together.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and implement AI-powered test automation frameworks that revolutionize our QA processes
  • Harness GenAI tools to conduct deep analysis of test outcomes, identifying subtle patterns and providing actionable insights
  • Design and execute complex test scenarios that push our software to its limits, uncovering potential issues before they reach our users
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven QA seamlessly into our development pipeline
  • Pioneer new methodologies that combine traditional QA practices with cutting-edge AI technologies

What you will NOT be doing

  • Performing repetitive manual testing tasks that can be automated
  • Writing basic test scripts without leveraging AI capabilities
  • Waiting for bugs to be reported by users or other team members
  • Focusing solely on post-development testing without proactive involvement in the development process

Key responsibilities

Drive the integration of AI-powered quality assurance processes to dramatically reduce defects and accelerate product releases, setting new standards for software quality in the industry.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in QA automation, demonstrating a track record of improving testing efficiency
  • Mastery of Selenium and proficiency in either Python, Java, or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code
  • Proven experience leveraging AI tools to enhance QA workflows and automate complex testing scenarios
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and the ability to integrate QA processes into these environments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
