At Upland, you will have the resources of a large, publicly-traded company while working as part of a tight-knit and collaborative product team of brilliant and collaborative colleagues. 

In this role, you will be the go-to database developer on your product team, and you will do what you do best every day: write and improve SQL code.

What you will be doing

  • Writing code for new features, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, queries, scripts, and ETL processes
  • Improving existing code to fix defects, eliminating technical debt, improving performance, and resolving potential deadlocks
  • Analytics and reporting

What you will NOT be doing

  • Working in a silo. You will be part of a collaborative product team
  • Working under constant supervision. You will have the autonomy to find and develop the best solutions for the product. 

Key responsibilities

Write high-quality SQL code that improves the functionality and performance of Upland’s products. 

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a database developer
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and ETL tools, such as SSIS
  • Daily work schedule that has at least 4 hours of overlap with standard business hours in the US Eastern Time Zone
