Description

A company can have all the greatest ideas and most innovative initiatives in the world, but if you can't ship them, then those ideas are worthless.

Trilogy is a B2B SaaS company with over 100 products and a roadmap of strategic initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for working with different teams (engineering, finance, marketing, etc.) to deliver those initiatives from start to finish. Projects are wide-ranging and might include, for example, the development of a new learning program at our EdTech subsidiary, building a new website for a recently acquired software product, or launching cloud computing infrastructure.

This is not a job where you wait for a deliverable to come across your desk before triggering the next phase of a project. This role is best suited for proactive, persistent, Type A personalities who are able to take ownership, build trust and gain influence horizontally and vertically across the company, and get the job done. If you take pride in holding people accountable and delivering projects on time and wish to gain exposure to a wide variety of innovative initiatives, then this role is for you!

What you will be doing

  • Developing Project Plans - Clearly defining all components necessary to successfully deliver a project on time
  • Executing Projects - Working closely with cross-functional teams and making sure all parties involved adhere to the plan, resolving any blockers along the way
  • Writing Updates - Regularly communicating process and schedule updates with stakeholders

What you will NOT be doing

  • Product management (e.g. analyzing markets, determining product features, pricing)
  • Doing a team’s work for them (a specialized/technical background is not required for the role)
  • Accepting projects without fully understanding the use case or business value

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver strategic initiatives on time and with all requirements met

Candidate requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager at a software company OR as a tech entrepreneur
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
