Description

Are you ready to be part of an extraordinary K-12 private school that revolutionizes education? Alpha is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Events & Partnerships Coordinator to join our marketing and admissions team and shape the future of learning.

Alpha is not your typical educational institution. We pride ourselves on fostering a dynamic learning environment where students can thrive at their own pace and uncover their true potential. Our innovative approach to education, led by energetic Guides and powered by adaptive apps, sets us apart as a trailblazer in the field.

As the Events & Partnerships Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our marketing and admissions team, responsible for organizing on-campus events, such as open houses, and forging strategic partnerships with potential sources of students, including prestigious preschools. Your efforts will play a crucial role in attracting bright minds who are eager to embark on a unique and rewarding educational journey at Alpha School.

At Alpha, we value creativity, collaboration, and innovation. If you are passionate about education and want to be part of a team that transforms the lives of young learners, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.

What you will be doing

  • Organizing Engaging Events: Plan and execute captivating on-campus events, open houses, and other activities to showcase Alpha School's distinct learning environment and attract prospective students and families.
  • Building Strategic Partnerships: Attend community events, establish connections, and cultivate partnerships with prestigious preschools and other relevant organizations to expand Alpha School's reach and student network.
  • Promoting Alpha's Vision: Articulate Alpha's innovative approach to education and the benefits it offers to potential students and their families during events and partnership discussions.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure event promotion, develop marketing materials, and align partnership efforts with overall marketing strategies.
  • Measuring and Analyzing Impact: Track the effectiveness of events and partnerships through data analysis, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance recruitment efforts continually.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing Curriculum Development: While our Guides play a vital role in shaping the learning experience, you will not be directly involved in curriculum development or teaching responsibilities.
  • Handling Admissions Decisions: Although you will assist in attracting potential students, the final admissions decisions rest with the admissions team and school administration.
  • Overseeing Academic Instruction: As an Events & Partnerships Coordinator, your focus is on outreach and promotion, not overseeing academic instruction or student guidance.

Key responsibilities

Create engaging events and establish strategic partnerships to attract prospective students and expand Alpha's network.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record of developing community partnerships
  • Experience planning & presenting high-end events for audiences of 20-100 attendees
  • Willingness to work on-site at our Austin, TX campus
