Your role is pivotal in propelling these students' academic advancement. You'll be entrusted with the education of 1st-12th grade students, through frequent interactions, assessing their academic needs, tracking their progress, inspiring them, and crafting personalized learning plans. You'll work in tandem with our academic engineers and parents to fine-tune each student's educational journey. This role is about igniting confidence, nurturing a love for learning, instilling a sense of responsibility in students, and maintaining transparent communication between gt.school, Learn + Earn, and parents.

What you will be doing

  • Meeting with students and parents weekly
  • Analyzing and reporting on data from student performance to provide actionable insights
  • Utilizing assessments to gauge students' practical application of knowledge
  • Motivating and holding students accountable for progress, helping them commit to a plan for success
  • Collaborating with our academic team to provide insights on program improvements based on student feedback and performance

What you will NOT be doing

  • Serving as the teacher of academic content; our apps and algorithms do the bulk of the teaching and you'll only be responsible for occasional tutoring on specific trouble areas.

Candidate requirements

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in both Ukrainian, Hungarian, and English.
  • Personable and easygoing, can connect well with students in a remote environment.
  • Available to work within our afterschool hours of 3-11 PM CET (based on student demand).

Nice to have

  • Any teaching experience, especially in 1st-12th grade Math, English, or Ukrainian.
