Description

Ever felt like you could command an entire operation? Your opportunity has arrived.

At 2 Hour Learning, we're rapidly expanding, with plans to open 25-30 new school campuses in just six months. This involves managing buildings, budgets, systems, and obtaining regulatory approvals, all with tight deadlines. We need senior leaders to take charge of one of four key areas: approvals, onboarding, or finance. You'll have complete responsibility, with no need for committee approvals or handoffs. It's your mandate to build and operate the machine.

We're not seeking advisors; we're looking for former MBB+ consultants who are ready to transition from recommending solutions to owning them. This position is tailored for individuals who thrive in uncertainty but demand a clear mission — those who can transform a blank slate into an actionable plan and drive results.

2 Hour Learning fuels Alpha, GT School, and other dynamic K-12 schools founded on a bold principle: students can master a year's worth of material in two focused hours daily, leaving the rest of the day for passions, projects, and life. Our schools integrate real-time dashboards, adaptive curricula, and insightful guides, providing students with both structure and freedom to excel.

Backed by private equity, we have the funding and the directive to scale. The model is proven, and now we're swiftly building the infrastructure to support it.

If you're ready to shift from theoretical to practical, from PowerPoint to P&L, and from hesitation to a resounding 'yes,' apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Take ownership of one domain of our national launch strategy: regulatory approvals, onboarding and systems, or financial operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams with full decision-making authority and accountability.
  • Create and refine playbooks, testing them in real-time for effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with founders, functional leads, and campus staff to establish launch-ready infrastructure.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline operations and enhance execution speed.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Acting as an advisor — this role demands action, not strategy.
  • Navigating through layers — you'll have direct access to decision-makers.
  • Focusing on a single market or workstream — you'll lead parallel initiatives across various regions.
  • Waiting for directions — you'll be responsible for creating clarity.
  • Passing on difficult decisions — those are yours to make.

Key responsibilities

Take command of and deliver one core operational pillar of 2HL’s national school launch — efficiently, cleanly, and at scale. You’ll be assigned to the pillar that best fits your strengths, but the domain will be yours to lead.

Candidate requirements

We're recruiting across various operational verticals, each requiring speed, clarity, structured thinking, and the capability to execute with vigor.

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience at a leading strategy consulting firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG)
  • A proven history of managing cross-functional operations in high-stakes, ambiguous settings
  • Expertise in one or more areas: regulatory navigation, onboarding systems, or large-scale financial operations
  • A structured mindset with a strong inclination towards execution — able to transition from planning to action independently
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and readiness to travel approximately one week per month
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency and speed of delivery
