Description

Have you ever spearheaded a project and thought to yourself, "I should be at the helm of this entire operation"? Here's your opportunity.

2 Hour Learning is in the midst of rapid expansion, with plans to establish 25–30 new school campuses within just six months. This means managing everything from infrastructure to finances, systems, and regulatory approvals—all while adhering to strict timelines. We're on the lookout for senior operators to take charge of one of four pivotal areas: approvals, onboarding, or finance. You'll have complete ownership, without the need for committee approvals or handoffs. It's your mission, your strategy, and your chance to create a well-oiled machine.

We're not seeking advisors. We're looking for former MBB+ consultants who are eager to transition from recommending to owning. This role is crafted for individuals who excel in uncertainty but demand mission clarity—those who can transform a blank slate into a strategic plan and then drive that plan to fruition.

2 Hour Learning fuels Alpha, GT School, and other high-performance K–12 institutions, all founded on a daring concept: students can master a year's worth of content in just two focused hours daily. The rest of the day is dedicated to passion projects and personal growth. Our schools blend real-time data, adaptive learning, and skilled mentorship—providing students with both structure and freedom to flourish.

Backed by private equity with secured funding, we have a clear mandate to scale. Our model is proven, and now we're racing to construct the infrastructure to support it.

If you're ready to transition from theoretical frameworks to tangible outcomes, from "yes, but" to "absolutely," we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing

  • Take full ownership of a key aspect of the national launch strategy: regulatory approvals, onboarding and systems, or financial operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams with complete authority and accountability.
  • Create new playbooks where none exist and rigorously test them in real-time.
  • Work closely with founders, functional leads, and campus teams to ensure launch-ready infrastructure.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to enhance operational efficiency and speed up execution.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Acting as an advisor—this is not a strategy consulting role.
  • Navigating through layers of hierarchy—you'll have direct access to decision-makers.
  • Managing a single market or workstream—you'll oversee multiple parallel projects across different regions.
  • Waiting for direction—you'll be the one creating it.
  • Passing off difficult decisions—they'll be yours to make.

Key responsibilities

Take ownership and deliver one of 2HL’s core operational pillars for the national school launch—swiftly, efficiently, and at scale. We'll match you with the most suitable pillar, but the domain will be entirely yours to manage.

Candidate requirements

We're recruiting across various operational verticals. Each role demands speed, clarity, structured thinking, and an ability to execute with vigor.

You should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with a top-tier strategy consulting firm (such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
  • A proven history of leading cross-functional operations in high-stakes, ambiguous environments.
  • A distinct proficiency in one or more areas: regulatory navigation, onboarding systems, or large-scale financial operations.
  • The ability to think structurally with a strong bias towards execution—capable of transitioning from plan to action without guidance.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and a willingness to travel approximately one week per month.
  • Comfort with using AI tools to optimize workflow and enhance delivery speed.
