Description

Some people maintain campuses. You'll define what "ready" means for all of them. This role is for an operator who sees a building and immediately envisions the end-to-end setup: the furniture that matches the brand, the signage that welcomes families, the systems that actually work, and the hospitality details that make UHNW parents feel like they've chosen the right school the moment they walk in. You'll own the final mile of school readiness: the work that transforms a physical space into a functioning, exceptional 2 Hour Learning campus. You won't be following someone else's checklist. You'll build the dashboards, trackers, and procurement workflows that set the standard across 25+ campuses. From major upgrades to last-minute AV fixes, your systems will define and deliver consistent excellence. This is not a slow-moving facilities job. You'll be juggling new launches, vendor chaos, and fast-changing directives, and you'll make it all look effortless. If you've ever walked into a space and thought, "We can do better than this" — and then actually did — this job is for you.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver launch-ready campuses that are visitor-proofed, staff-ready, and visually on-brand — no last-minute scrambles, no gaps, no excuses.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered dashboards and checklists that track readiness across décor, furniture, signage, networking, and ops systems.
  • Own multi-site upgrade execution — managing vendor bids, budgets, and timelines while minimizing disruption to learning.
  • Set and audit universal standards for everything from hospitality basics to HVAC — making sure every campus experience feels premium and consistent.
  • Run predictive maintenance and issue resolution across 25+ schools using IoT data, AI tools, and clearly defined SLAs.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing facilities from a spreadsheet — your systems are real-time, AI-powered, and live across all campuses.
  • Waiting on others to define readiness — you set the standards and ensure they show up on Day 1, down to the last detail.
  • Accepting "good enough" for UHNW families or national leaders — every campus needs to impress from the first step in.
  • Managing one project at a time — you'll be juggling standups, upgrades, and maintenance cycles across the country.
  • Avoiding ambiguity — this is a builder role, not a caretaker one.

Key responsibilities

Transform newly built campuses into fully operational, premium-quality schools — by building and executing the systems that ensure every space is launch-ready, on-brand, and running smoothly.

Candidate requirements

  • Based in the U.S. and legally authorized to work without sponsorship
  • Willing to travel 50–75% across U.S. campuses
  • 5+ years in operations, facilities, or project management, with experience managing multi-site readiness or upgrades
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to spec in ambiguous or fast-moving environments
  • Daily user of AI tools and low-code systems (e.g., GPT, Airtable, Retool, Zapier) to manage projects or vendors
  • High-speed execution — owns deliverables and closes loops without handholding
  • Proactive — solves problems before they surface and never leaves vendors or timelines to chance

Nice to have

  • Experience in high-end hospitality, luxury retail, or private club environments
  • NYC-based or willing to travel frequently to the NYC flagship
  • Familiarity with CapEx and construction workflows (not required, but helpful)
  • Strong aesthetic judgment for visitor-facing design and décor
  • Experience designing centralized procurement systems
