Description

Become the digital architect behind our educational revolution. As our UI/UX Web Designer, you'll transform ideas into immersive web experiences at lightning speed, crafting the digital face of Alpha School that converts visitors into enrolled families. You're not just designing websites—you're engineering growth through pixel-perfect funnels, compelling landing pages, and intelligent automations that do the heavy lifting.

We're building a digital ecosystem where AI amplifies creativity. You'll harness the power of WordPress and Elementor supercharged by cutting-edge AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, and Webflow AI to create at a pace that leaves traditional methods in the dust. With HubSpot as your command center, LLM-optimized content as your secret weapon, and automation workflows as your efficiency engine, you'll watch the metrics that matter climb steadily upward.

Your canvas is production websites (70%) and targeted creative assets (30%). This means you'll architect digital properties, design across multiple platforms, align visuals with our evolving message, integrate conversion tools, and analyze performance to drive continuous improvement. This isn't about making things pretty—it's about creating experiences that communicate clearly, convert effectively, and rank prominently in search results.

If you can showcase websites you've built from concept to completion, demonstrate how you've measured and optimized conversion funnels, and articulate design decisions that drove meaningful business results, you'll find your perfect match at Alpha School.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and deploy conversion-optimized websites using WordPress, Elementor, and an arsenal of AI-powered design tools
  • Design compelling marketing assets across multiple channels—from targeted landing pages to strategic ad creatives, branded email templates, and informative infographics
  • Implement comprehensive SEO strategies incorporating technical best practices, local optimization, and LLM-friendly content structure
  • Build intelligent automation systems using MCP, n8n, and Zapier to streamline customer journeys and eliminate manual processes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating cookie-cutter designs or clinging to outdated web practices that fail to engage modern audiences
  • Working in a creative vacuum—instead, you'll collaborate with a dynamic team pushing the boundaries of educational technology

Key responsibilities

  • Drive Alpha School and 2HR Learning's market expansion through exceptional digital experiences that educate prospective families, articulate our unique value proposition, and convert interest into enrollment through strategically designed marketing assets

Candidate requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in web design (Note: This role requires specialized web design skills—software engineers without specific web design focus should not apply)
  • Mastery of WordPress, Canva, and Cursor with the ability to leverage these tools to their fullest potential
  • Hands-on experience integrating generative AI technologies into content creation and web design workflows
  • An impressive portfolio showcasing web experiences that engage target audiences, effectively communicate product value, and drive measurable conversion results
