As a Software Architect, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that customers are blown away by the technical differentiation and quality of the product. BOOTCAMP PROGRAM

To be considered for this position you are required to take part in a mandatory training series and tests included in our 4-week Bootcamp program.

After grading your tests, you will be eligible to take the Bootcamp which is usually held within a week of obtaining your test results. You will be paid the full-time rate for 40 hours per week for four weeks.

Once the Bootcamp tests are complete, we will be able to evaluate you for the position correctly. Bootcamp is a very tough training program, and only an average of 50% of attendees can finish it. Taking the Bootcamp doesn’t guarantee that you will be hired, but it is a requirement as part of the hiring process.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve an expert level understanding of our customers’ environments and their use of our products

Architect and lead weekly technical delivery of one or more products in a way that maintains an unyielding focus on quality while matching the needs of the target customer base

Create solutions architecture, algorithms, and designs for solutions that scale to the customer's enterprise/global requirements

 
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering

5+ years of experience as both a hands-on architect and a software engineer

At least 4 years experience in a CICD environment

Have a minimum of 2 years experience leading or mentoring other more junior developers

5+ years experience in writing unit tests

Leadership experience in creating, deploying, and iterating excellent software

Proficiency in the following skills and technologies is mandatory:
• Programming Language (Java / C++ / C#(.Net) / PHP / Python / Ruby on Rails)

• Database(SQL server/Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB/Cassandra)

• SOA, EDA, and Design patterns

• Javascript (ReactJS, AngularJS), HTML5, CSS3

• Cloud computing architecting

• Linux, Django, REST, tools for CI/CD (Jenkins), Git, and shell scripting

• DevOps

• Writing Unit Test Cases

MVC and knowledge of another server-side programming language are desired but not mandatory

Demonstrate success as a problem solver, result-oriented, and a self-starter

Comfortable “working virtually” with teammates and customers around the world. We do a lot of Skype and video conferencing

Good proficiency in the English language
