WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Chief Software Architect, you will be the principal technical decision maker for one of our QA automation teams. You and your team will deliver automated test suites that follow our best practices in test automation patterns and architectural principles. You will continuously inspect and improve our test automation process by researching and introducing new state-of-the-art tools and techniques

You will have daily and weekly targets to work towards, and you will receive regular feedback and coaching related to your performance. You will also deliver technical feedback and specific coaching to others in your team.

 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a key technical decision maker for QA automated testing of our products

Mentor more junior test automation architects and engineers on the state of the art tools and techniques

Deliver consistent high-quality software testing scripts for functional testing

Create comprehensive test plans and automation test suites

Oversee Automation of test cases by reviewing, writing and debugging automation scripts and unit testing

Create performance test scripts from non-functional requirements and execute performance testing to verify performance metrics

 
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields

8+ years of QA experience: Test cases automation and documentation

5+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java, C# or NodeJS

2+ years of test Automation tools experience, such as Protractor, Selenium, RestAssured, TestComplete, Appium and JMeter

Experienced in writing unit tests

Be knowledgeable about HTML, DOM, API, Git and Jasmine

Good proficiency in the English language

Nice to have
  • TypeScript language and Protractor test automation background
  • Hands-on experience profiling web pages
  • Experience in performance testing
  • Experience in transforming use cases into performance scripts using industry standard tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling
  • Experience using industry standard APM tools such as NewRelic, AppyDynamics, DynaTrace
  • Solid understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies
  • Competency on the current software development practices and tools, including virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, product build and installation
