What you will be doing

  • Designing and continuously improving an AI-powered learning ecosystem that significantly surpasses traditional education, supported by clear improvements in student performance data
  • Interacting directly with students via virtual platforms to understand their educational experiences, challenges, and achievements, using this feedback to perpetually enhance the learning ecosystem
  • Extracting actionable insights from learning platform data to design impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices
  • Fostering a culture of innovative experimentation and evidence-based decision-making, utilizing data to unlock dramatic improvements in student growth
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to translate academic insights and student feedback into seamless product enhancements

What you will NOT be doing

  • Merely wrapping traditional education in AI. This is not about replicating classroom teaching on a screen – we're completely rethinking learning from the ground up.
  • Analyzing data in isolation. You'll consistently engage with K-12 students, valuing their feedback as crucial input from our paying customers.
  • Waiting for consensus to challenge norms. You'll advocate for a bold vision and rally others around data-driven outcomes.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll have the freedom to experiment with innovative methods for motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Fearing AI's role in education. Here, you'll embrace AI as a powerful tool to revolutionize learning, not as a threat to be mitigated.

Key responsibilities

Innovate in AI-driven, teacher-less education to achieve exceptional student outcomes across multiple campuses. Blend data analytics with regular student interaction to continually optimize our learning ecosystem, as evidenced by AP exam results and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Leadership experience in the education or EdTech sector
  • Experience applying AI technologies in an educational or professional setting
  • Experience designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Strong grasp of learning science principles and data-driven educational strategies
  • Proven ability to convey complex educational and technical concepts to diverse groups
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing intricate projects
