SVP of Non-Technical Operations, Trilogy (Remote) - $400,000/year USD

Job ID: 5011
Description

Ready to dive into the realm of infinite possibilities? We are seeking a visionary leader who excels at navigating ambiguity and turning complex business challenges into elegant solutions. If you possess exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a logical mindset and expertise in system building, this is your chance to bring order to chaos and revolutionize our expanding tech portfolio with your strategic expertise.

Trilogy is a B2B software company with a portfolio of over 100 products and a high-velocity acquisition model capable of acquiring two companies per week. Our team is responsible for creating and delivering new business systems and services. Our business services are diverse and offer the opportunity to learn about a variety of areas within Trilogy, ranging from hiring to mergers & acquisitions to academics.

You will play a critical role in optimizing the operational aspects of Trilogy's expanding portfolio of technology companies. Your focus will be on driving efficiency, scalability, and cross-company synergies by implementing robust systems and processes. You will work closely with executive leadership, leveraging your strategic mindset and leadership abilities to ensure seamless operations and facilitate sustainable growth.

At Trilogy, we offer a stimulating and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and innovation. As the Senior Vice President of Non-Technical Operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and facilitating the success of our growing portfolio of technology companies.

What you will be doing
  • Designing and implementing scalable operational frameworks, processes, and policies to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance across portfolio companies.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership and functional heads to identify operational improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate operational performance, providing regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
  • Developing high-performing operational teams, cultivating a culture that embraces high-quality, high standards, accountability, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
What you will NOT be doing
  • Spending your day delegating tasks. You will get hands-on in the data, research, and system design plans to find the best solutions.
  • Wasting time in pointless meetings. Our asynchronous culture prioritizes written communication and moves decision-making and feedback out of meetings and into the comment section.
  • Managing in the traditional sense. We believe the best managers lead by example, actually doing the work and setting a high-quality standard for their team.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field; MBA or advanced business-focused degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of senior leadership and strategic management in the technology industry, overseeing operations in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable operational frameworks and processes, driving efficiency and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights, identify trends, and make data-driven operational decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and develop innovative solutions to complex operational issues.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
