What you will be doing

  • Cultivate self-directed learning by coaching students to establish and pursue personal educational milestones
  • Deliver expert guidance in emotional intelligence development and foundational literacy skills, with specialized Reading Specialist support
  • Create an engaging learning sanctuary where hands-on experiences spark wonder and build resilience
  • Champion and leverage AI-enhanced educational tools that prepare children for a technology-integrated future
  • Partner with our multidisciplinary education team to craft personalized learning approaches that honor each child's unique potential

🚫 Clinging to outdated educational methods that ignore technological advancement

🚫 Delivering standardized instruction that fails to recognize each child's unique learning journey

🚫 Prioritizing academic metrics at the expense of crucial social-emotional development

Key responsibilities

💡 Serve as the architect of independence for our K-2 learners, building foundations for lifelong learning success by nurturing both academic prowess and essential life skills in these formative years.

Candidate requirements

  • Commitment to on-site presence at our Austin, TX learning community
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (education-related fields appreciated but not required)
  • Minimum 3-year track record working with 4-8 year olds in educational, recreational, or developmental capacities
  • Demonstrated success implementing growth mindset principles and high-performance coaching techniques
  • Genuine enthusiasm for educational technology integration, particularly AI-enhanced learning tools
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship requirements

Nice to have

  • Academic credentials specifically in early childhood education, child development, or literacy intervention
  • Specialized training in progressive early learning methodologies (CDA, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, etc.)
  • Professional background as a K-2 educator, reading specialist, or literacy coach with formal training in phonics frameworks
  • Previous experience in educational environments emphasizing personalized learning and educational technology integration
