What you will be doing

  • Guide and coach your team of Guides, providing actionable feedback to enhance their performance, thereby boosting student engagement and success.
  • Develop Guide Playbooks outlining best practices, creating enriching learning activities, and addressing challenges effectively.
  • Motivate students by leading a small group, using your expertise to transform reluctant learners into eager achievers.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting lesson plans: Focus on the big picture. Your role is to train Guides in facilitating, enriching activities, and injecting enthusiasm into their sessions.
  • Lowering standards: Maintain high expectations. A 100% standard is non-negotiable; you'll facilitate students achieving ambitious goals.
  • Conducting dull training: No lecture-style sessions here! You'll demonstrate energy and expert facilitation in your coaching.

Key responsibilities

Develop and lead a team of Guides to execute the Sports Academy system with outstanding excellence.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Proven track record of developing and mentoring teams to reach elite performance levels
  • Experience using data-driven decision-making approaches
  • Demonstrated engagement with children and teens, fostering their development
  • Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Commitment to working in-person in Austin, TX
