Description

Do you believe that creating world-class design flair and product branding is among the most critical competencies for growth software companies? Do you thrive on the challenge of revitalizing failed brands through your ability to leverage UI and UX design to maximize B2B conversions? Unlike traditional design roles, this role focuses on mastering a repeatable playbook of world-class design strategies that serves an ever-increasing portfolio of diverse products.

What you will be doing

  • Learn the nuances of a product-specific design toolkit produced by your team lead
  • Receive deliverable-specific work orders from Aurea's copywriting team
  • Use the copywriting inputs as well as the design toolkit to brainstorm design options for the specific work order at hand
  • Receive feedback from the Design Team Lead and iterate accordingly
  • Produce the final deliverable and submit it to the Design Team Lead for final QA

What you will NOT be doing

  • Chasing down key inputs from other stakeholder teams. We have a high bar for the quality of the inputs your receive.
  • Crafting a different design strategy for each deliverable or product you write for. We continually hone the same core strategies that we repeat on every product and deliverable.
  • Deploying the designs you create. We help you focus on your superpower: world-class design!

Key responsibilities

Use the combination of inputs from other teams, coaching from your team lead, and your own exceptional design skills to produce the core design files that will increase a prospect's likelihood to progress through the marketing funnel. Some of the most important designs you will produce are:

  • Display Ad Creative
  • PPC Landing Page Design
  • Website Page Design
  • Longform Content Design (Case Studies, Ebooks, etc.)
  • Sales Presentation Deck Design
  • Marketing Email Design

Candidate requirements

  • University Degree in Art, Design or a Liberal Arts Major
  • At least 2 years doing UI design for a B2B software company
  • At least 2 years experience with the Adobe Creative Suite

What you will learn

We activate new products at the pace of at least two products per quarter, so you will have no shortage of opportunities to challenge and grow your design chops. You won't be trying to slowly develop design and branding for one or even a small handful of products. You will constantly be challenged with new product brands that need to be re-imagined and revitalized.
