Description

Are you an experienced software marketer who desires a role focused exclusively on creating provocative product and vision messaging for a $300M company with a broad portfolio of products and solutions? We have over 200 go-to-market professionals, and every one of them will use your messaging every day! At Aurea, we're looking for someone with strong messaging creation skills combined with the business acumen to establish clear market differentiation.

What you will be doing

  • Contributing to the wholesale reinvention of integrated B2B marketing by creating the most compelling, interesting email marketing campaigns to ever grace the digital aether.
  • Finding the hooks and levers that make prospects need to click on our brands’ emails.
  • Building and buying the right prospect databases that lead to email marketing greatness.
  • Figuring out what’s working in email, what’s not, and getting everybody on the right page.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Going it alone - you’re part of a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team.
  • Being pulled in different directions - your focus is on building amazing emails.
  • Working in a vacuum - email is part of a comprehensive campaign approach.
  • Playing politics - we are a small startup team in a large organization, charged with breaking stuff and making things happen.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the smartest and most creative team to transform your insights and ideas into amazingly written and designed email campaigns.
  • Figure out the timing and messages that make people act and bring that to life in the form of fully orchestrated email activation, nurture, and follow up campaigns.
  • Build the HTML emails and design the cadences within Pardot.
  • Reporting to the team on the wins, the misses, new opportunities, and plans to make awesome even better.
  • Keep an eye on the future - and take us there.

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years in a marketing role where you owned the creation and optimization of email marketing campaigns
  • 2+ years of specific experience with B2B marketing
  • Expertise with CRM and marketing automation systems such as Pardot, Hubspot, etc
  • Basic HTML coding experience
  • High Fluency in English: Both spoken and written

Nice to have

  • An undergraduate university degree ideally in marketing, communications or a business discipline (Business Management, Public Relations, etc.)
  • Marketing experience focused on general lead generation campaigns
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS B2B marketing
  • History of direct management to multiple campaigns and brands simultaneously
  • Full expertise in full HTML & CSS coding
