Director Program Management   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Have you ever felt like your reports were just scratching the surface, not quite making the impact you envisioned? At 2 Hour Learning, we offer you the chance to change that. Join us in revolutionizing education with an innovative AI-driven learning system that condenses an entire school day into two hours without compromise. With a $50M EdTech portfolio under your guidance, your decisions will be the cornerstone of timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality project deliveries.

As the driving force behind vendor performance, you'll create and maintain dashboards that executives rely on, manage vendor scorecards, and lead procurement with precision. Your role isn't just about supporting decisions; it's about making them. If you thrive on ownership and precision, and you're ready to influence which vendors excel or exit, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee dynamic, AI-enhanced dashboards across more than 25 initiatives, ensuring they remain accurate and transparent while keeping projects on track.
  • Conduct regular vendor evaluations, develop scorecards based on specific criteria, and uncover insights that could lead to strategic changes in scope or vendor relationships.
  • Create comprehensive procurement packages with dual-bid comparisons and precise scopes to aid in vendor selection.
  • Monitor the integrity of contracts and invoices, ensuring alignment with deliverables, financial limits, and signed agreements.
  • Leverage AI tools daily to spot irregularities, draft comprehensive reports, and ensure all outputs are timely and precise.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Attending meetings without addressing project delays or issues head-on.
  • Leaving AI tasks to others or waiting for updates from your team.
  • Allowing billing inaccuracies or vendor lapses to go unnoticed.
  • Generating status reports that fail to inspire action or decision-making.
  • Making decisions based on intuition rather than solid, evidence-backed data.

Key responsibilities

Develop and manage the dashboards, scorecards, procurement packages, and contract controls that fuel a $50M operational powerhouse, ensuring vendors are held accountable in real-time.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record in managing multi-initiative programs or portfolios with a focus on vendor collaboration, particularly in projects exceeding $5M.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards and tracking systems that are trusted by executives, not just internal teams.
  • Skilled in conducting vendor meetings, preparing bid packages, and navigating contracting processes.
  • Proficient in understanding contracts, SOWs, and invoices, with the ability to identify and address discrepancies.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, capable of crafting memos that drive decisions rather than further discussions.
  • Regular use of AI tools to enhance, analyze, and expedite project delivery.
  • US-based, willing to travel domestically up to 25%, and legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in EdTech, consulting, or other high-paced operational roles.
  • Experience with platforms like Linear, Notion, Jira, or bespoke AI dashboards.
  • Knowledge of large-scale vendor scorecards or procurement processes.
