Description

Most channel sales leaders spend their days chasing deals, managing escalations, and flying to partner dinners that could have been emails. This role is built differently.

At GFI Software, the channel sales organization runs on quality, not quota sprints. GenAI tools are not a future initiative here. They are standard equipment, embedded into how work gets reviewed, how coaching gets delivered, and how partner conversations get prepared. If you have been waiting for a sales leadership role that actually reflects how modern work should run, this is it.

Your focus is on the top 25 partners in your region. You will use AI-generated performance summaries to walk into every monthly and quarterly meeting prepared, with specific data and clear next steps. Between those meetings, you are reviewing the work of Channel Account Managers and Sales Engineers using AI-assisted analysis tools, identifying patterns, and turning those patterns into process improvements that raise the bar for the whole team. Coaching here is frequent and specific, backed by GenAI-surfaced insights rather than gut feel.

This is a structured role for someone who leads with rigor. If you thrive when expectations are clear, when your team has a defined quality bar to hit, and when you have real tools to help them get there, the pace here will energize you. If you prefer a looser environment or want to avoid coaching high performers through hard feedback, this will not be the right fit.

The role is fully remote and based in North America, with significantly less travel than most channel sales leadership positions of this scope.

If you have led channel teams, built habits around AI tools, and are ready to apply both at scale, apply now.

What you will be doing

  • Reviewing and approving or rejecting work units submitted by CAMs and Sales Engineers, using GenAI analysis tools to identify systemic patterns and generate process improvement proposals
  • Coaching CAMs and SEs through frequent, structured sessions where GenAI-surfaced failure patterns drive the agenda and feedback is specific and actionable
  • Leading monthly and quarterly meetings with the top 25 regional partners, using AI-generated pre-meeting summaries to ground every conversation in performance data and close with documented next steps

What you will NOT be doing

  • Rescuing individual deals or stepping in as a direct seller when a partner relationship gets difficult
  • Managing a broad, unfocused partner portfolio where your attention is spread thin across dozens of low-priority accounts
  • Traveling constantly to maintain relationships, this role is structured to minimize travel without sacrificing partner engagement quality
  • Operating without structure, this role has a defined quality bar, consistent review cadences, and clear performance expectations

Key responsibilities

  • Drive a high-performing, AI-enabled channel sales organization at GFI Software by embedding GenAI tools into every layer of coaching, work review, and strategic partner engagement to improve output quality across the team.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 7 years of sales experience in B2B software
  • At least 3 years of channel sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to use GenAI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or Claude) in a professional sales context
  • Experience building or improving AI-assisted workflows within a sales team
  • Currently based in North America
