Description

Few families realize a school like this is even an option. Your role is to ensure those who are ready commit with confidence.

Texas Sports Academy operates on a principle that most educational institutions avoid: elite athletic training and rigorous academics can coexist without compromise. Families who discover us are actively seeking an alternative. They simply need a guide who can empower them to decide decisively.

That guide is you. You lead consultative sales discussions — not drip campaigns. You identify the root of uncertainty, address it head-on, eliminate friction, and secure commitment. You manage 20+ active prospects in a structured CRM pipeline with clearly defined stages and reliable probability forecasts. You evaluate your effectiveness through conversion metrics, not task volume. When momentum stops, you disqualify — because pipeline clarity is a strategic asset, not a shortcoming.

This position is based on-site in San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX. If you're located there — or prepared to relocate — submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting 1:1 consultative sales discussions with prospective families through phone, Zoom, and face-to-face meetings — identifying academic, athletic, and household decision factors before presenting any offer
  • Identifying and addressing objections during the conversation — related to cost, program credibility, and alternative choices — rather than postponing resolution
  • Requesting the enrollment decision and finalizing the agreement — the interaction concludes with payment, not just verbal interest
  • Managing a dynamic pipeline of 20+ prospects from start to finish — updating stage and probability data in CRM, executing rapid and tailored follow-ups after each touchpoint, and proactively removing inactive opportunities instead of allowing them to linger

What you will NOT be doing

  • Handing off the closing step to a senior admissions leader or school executive — you retain ownership of the dialogue from initial inquiry to enrollment completion
  • Relying on a standardized objection response script — every family's concern is unique and you'll assess it in the moment
  • Allowing families to dictate the pace — you control the decision timeline and guide it toward resolution

Key responsibilities

Generate steady enrollment expansion for Texas Sports Academy by transforming qualified prospective families into confirmed, paid enrollments through structured consultative selling.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5+ sales or enrollment conversation where you were personally responsible for the final ask
  • Experience managing 10+ concurrent prospects in a defined pipeline
  • Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferred) to manage pipeline stages, log interactions, and track close probability
  • Experience handling a live prospect objection on price, skepticism, or alternatives
  • Based in or willing to relocate to San Antonio, TX or Dallas, TX; this is an on-site role
  • Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Background in K–12 private school admissions, tutoring center enrollment, or learning center sales where a parent is the primary decision-maker and the product requires explanation
  • Experience selling a non-traditional education model (micro school, competency-based learning, hybrid or accelerated academics) to skeptical families
  • Demonstrated pipeline discipline — can show conversion rate improvement over a defined period, with data on how deals were tracked, prioritized, and closed
