What you will be doing

  • Designing and enhancing test content to meet high educational standards using psychometrics and AI tools.
  • Creating AI-driven assessment rubrics to evaluate content depth, alignment, and impact.
  • Ensuring learning content is engaging, accurate, and effective through quality control processes.
  • Analyzing student data and test results to identify curriculum improvement opportunities.
  • Working with subject experts to refine educational offerings, including tests and instructional materials.
  • Applying learning science and mastery-based learning principles to improve curriculum and assessments.
  • Engaging in knowledge-sharing practices to contribute to and gain from collective expertise.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Manually creating test content or curriculum materials; AI tools will be utilized for all content creation.
  • Writing code for system automation; your focus will be on learning measurement and content design, with technical tasks handled by engineers.
  • Working in isolation; this role involves active collaboration with diverse teams and disciplines.

Key responsibilities

Utilize your expertise in psychometrics to develop and refine AI-assisted test content, ensuring it is personalized, rigorous, and aligned with educational standards. Contribute to the enhancement of our learning ecosystem through collaborative efforts and data-driven insights.

Candidate requirements

  • Expertise in psychometrics, educational measurement, assessment design, standardized test creation, item writing, cognitive psychology, educational data analysis, Item Response Theory, or computer adaptive testing.
  • Proven application of these principles in practical settings.
  • A PhD in a relevant field.
  • Strong grasp of learning science and mastery-based learning.
  • Proficiency with AI tools in education or a readiness to master new technologies swiftly.
  • User-focused approach with the ability to evaluate content for appropriateness, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across diverse teams and disciplines.
  • Passion for educational innovation and dedication to enhancing learning outcomes.
