You've dominated in competitive gaming environments—either as a player, coach, or team builder. You understand that true excellence comes from the perfect balance of technical mastery, strategic thinking, and mental fortitude. Now it's time to translate your competitive edge into developing the next generation of digital athletes and leaders.

What you will be doing

  • Elevate Guide Performance: Transform good instructors into exceptional ones through personalized coaching, actionable feedback, and strategic performance metrics that directly enhance student achievement.
  • Develop Elite Training Systems: Create comprehensive Guide Playbooks that codify best practices, innovative teaching methodologies, and tactical approaches for overcoming learning obstacles in both esports and academics.
  • Ignite Student Potential: Lead a select cohort of students, applying your expertise in competitive gaming psychology to transform reluctant learners into high-performing digital athletes with transferable skills.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating Basic Curriculum: Your focus isn't on developing elementary gaming sessions or lesson plans. You'll be architecting advanced coaching frameworks that empower Guides to facilitate transformative learning experiences through our adaptive platforms.
  • Compromising Excellence: At Sports Academy, standards are non-negotiable. Whether maintaining strict skill progression benchmarks or facilitating advanced opportunities for exceptional students, you'll uphold our commitment to uncompromising quality.
  • Conducting Conventional Training: Forget tedious professional development sessions. Your coaching approach will model the same energy, strategic thinking, and engagement techniques that define elite esports environments.

Key responsibilities

Train and develop a world-class team of Guides who implement the Sports Academy esports system with championship-level excellence, directly impacting both competitive gaming outcomes and holistic student development.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing teams to achieve elite-level results in competitive environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in data-driven performance analysis and strategic decision-making
  • Established history of successful engagement with children/teens (ages 5-18), with measurable impact on their development
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Commitment to working in-person at our Austin, Texas campus
