Learning Designer $200,000USD/year ($100 USD/hour)

Description

Ready to revolutionize education with AI? At 2 Hour Learning, we're not just adopting AI—we're redefining learning itself. Our AI-powered platform has already helped students achieve remarkable results: consistent 4s and 5s on multiple AP exams and over two years' growth on yearly MAP assessments. If you're passionate about transforming education and unlocking human potential at an unprecedented scale, we want you on our team.

As our Learning Designer, you'll be the mastermind behind our groundbreaking AI-driven learning ecosystem. You'll craft personalized learning journeys, analyze data to drive growth, and work directly with students to understand their needs. Your mission? To shatter achievement ceilings across all our campuses—without traditional classroom teachers.

This role is your chance to apply cutting-edge AI technology to fundamentally reshape education. With advanced analytics, large-scale A/B testing capabilities, and a mandate to push boundaries, you'll be at the forefront of educational innovation.

If you're ready to harness AI's power to transform the foundation of our society, this is your moment. We're looking for bold thinkers and rigorous executors who are committed to extraordinary student outcomes. Status quo defenders need not apply.

Join us in creating the future of education. Together, we'll do more than shape it—we'll build it from the ground up.

What you will be doing

  • Design and continuously refine an AI-powered learning ecosystem that demonstrably outperforms traditional education models
  • Engage in virtual interactions with students to gain firsthand insights into their learning experiences
  • Leverage AI/ML, learning science, and motivation research to extract actionable insights from platform data and design high-impact interventions
  • Spearhead a culture of daring experimentation and data-driven decision-making to accelerate student growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate academic insights and student feedback into product enhancements

What you will NOT be doing

  • Digitizing traditional classroom instruction. We're reimagining education from scratch, not just moving it online
  • Analyzing data in a vacuum. You'll regularly connect with K-12 students, treating their feedback as invaluable customer input
  • Seeking unanimous approval before innovating. You'll champion your vision and let data-driven results speak for themselves
  • Adhering to conventional educational methods. You're free to explore groundbreaking approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction
  • Viewing AI as a threat to education. Here, you'll harness AI as a powerful ally in revolutionizing learning

Key responsibilities

Spearhead innovation in AI-driven, teacher-free education to deliver exceptional student outcomes across multiple campuses. Seamlessly integrate data analytics with regular student engagement to continuously optimize our learning ecosystem, with success measured by AP exam performance and MAP assessment growth.

  • Track record of designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Deep understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational strategies
