As our Director of Retail Operations, you'll be the architect of our operational future, wielding AI as your primary tool to revolutionize how we deliver educational excellence. This isn't a theoretical position—you'll be in the trenches, writing code, integrating APIs, and building intelligent systems that drive our expansion while maintaining our exceptional standards.

Working shoulder-to-shoulder with our founder, you'll shape the strategic direction of a company that's redefining what's possible in K-12 education. What you will be doing

  • Architect and deploy sophisticated AI-driven operational ecosystems that scale our educational impact while maintaining our gold-standard outcomes
  • Transform raw data into actionable intelligence through AI-powered analytics, providing the founder with crystal-clear strategic insights
  • Orchestrate complex cross-functional initiatives, ensuring seamless integration of AI solutions throughout our operational fabric
  • Get your hands dirty with technical implementation—from coding automation scripts to establishing API connections
  • Pioneer AI-enhanced quality assurance frameworks that ensure consistent excellence across our expanding network of locations

  • Micromanaging individual campus operations—your mission is strategic automation and scalability
  • Creating educational content or supervising teaching staff—we need your focus on operational excellence
  • Philosophizing about AI's potential—we're looking for concrete implementation, not theoretical discussions
  • Playing it safe—this role demands continuous innovation and breakthrough thinking

Key responsibilities

Design, implement, and oversee AI-enhanced operational frameworks that drive scalable growth, while ensuring consistent delivery of our revolutionary academic model. Transform complex operational data into strategic insights that inform executive decision-making and accelerate our mission.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record with 10+ years leading operations in multi-location businesses (education, premium retail, hospitality, or healthcare sectors)
  • Alumni status from elite consulting firms (McKinsey, Bain, or BCG)
  • Demonstrated mastery of AI tools and automation, verified through our technical assessment
  • Hands-on experience in technical implementation of AI solutions, including coding and API integration
  • Extensive portfolio managing cross-functional operational initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Expert ability to translate complex operational insights into compelling C-suite recommendations
  • U.S.-based with capability to travel 30% time to campus locations
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
