Spend your day working with other brilliant people like yourself and interacting with elite senior executives. Solve our most important challenges across various disciplines. Reporting directly to one of the C-suite executives of a large, multi-national group of enterprise software companies, this is a high-profile, high-impact position. You will see the full spectrum of tasks that face the top executives in our organization. This is a headquarters role with a level of C-suite interaction unparalleled in the company. 

Candidates must be located in Austin, TX, or willing to relocate. 

What you will be doing

  • Research a variety of business topics
  • Conduct analysis of topics, digging for the root cause
  • Document solutions with clear, concise written summaries
  • Managing a modest budget, providing regular updates to the executive

What you will NOT be doing

  • Handling HR tasks like recruitment or talent management
  • Managing investments

Key responsibilities

You’ll receive a task assignment approximately once per week. Your job is to deliver a well-researched and supported solution. It is essential to work quickly. The assignments are urgent, high-impact problems that must be solved in days, not weeks or months. Solutions must be correct and specific - we expect high quality in every dimension, including attention to detail.

Candidate requirements

  • College degree in any subject with some finance/accounting coursework
  • 3+ years of business experience
  • Experience as a Chief of Staff or assistant to a C-suite executive
  • Strong written English skills
  • Ability to think analytically and recognize patterns
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship    
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX
