Are you passionate about working with people and revolutionizing education? Alpha is looking to grow our admissions team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be the conduit between parents and the information they require. You'll interact with dedicated parents who are willing to invest in their child's success and take a risk on a new educational model.

Alpha teaches students through adaptive apps and highly effective motivational strategies. Our apps are designed by education experts and rooted in scientifically proven learning principles like mastery and spaced repetition. Instead of traditional teachers, Guides motivate, inspire, and encourage students to achieve challenging academic goals while actually enjoying their time at school. Thanks to this unique approach to education, Alpha students learn twice as much as they would in a “regular” school — discovering their strengths, fostering their interests, and picking up valuable life skills along the way. 

Your focus will be on ensuring that the student enrollment and onboarding processes run smoothly. You will manage tour logistics and schedule shadow days, training a group of students to serve as Alpha Ambassadors. You will also address parents' questions or concerns about the admissions process and the program using information from our knowledge base.

What you will be doing
  • Answering parent questions via phone calls and emails, referring to our knowledge base
  • Equipping Alpha Ambassadors to lead campus tours
  • Managing logistics for tours and shadow days, paying attention to the smallest details and ensuring a seamless experience
  • Inputting data to Salesforce to maintain clear records for each potential student & family
  • Writing manuals and operating procedures so your systems can be scaled to new campuses
Key Responsibilities

Create a consistent, high-quality admissions and onboarding experience for new Alpha students

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of work experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer support or sales
  • The ability to communicate clearly with parents and students, both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to work on-site at our Austin, Texas campus
  • Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship
