Learning Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is built for those who believe education must accelerate, operate with precision, and deliver measurable results.

2 Hour Learning condenses what conventional schools distribute across an entire day into concentrated, high-outcome learning sequences. This model depends on academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and fully owned. Your role is to enable this: transform raw student data into actionable insight, and combine it with direct, trust-based student coaching that eliminates obstacles rapidly.

You will operate where analytical rigor meets personal engagement. In one instance, you'll be examining performance metrics to identify risk early and support placements with sound rationale. In the next, you'll be working directly with a student, diagnosing misunderstanding in the moment and guiding them forward before minor challenges escalate into real setbacks. This is not a passive observation role. You own the outcomes.

This position is designed for individuals who want to witness the results of their decisions immediately. If ownership energizes you, you enjoy working closely with students, and you take satisfaction in helping children learn twice as quickly through better judgment, this is where you belong.

Apply if you want your contributions to be visible by week's end, not semester's end.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic reports that enable timely interventions
  • Take full ownership of academic outcomes for a designated student group, including placement, testing strategy, and follow-up execution
  • Facilitate rapid academic intervention sessions that uncover root causes and eliminate learning obstacles in real time
  • Lead post-test debriefs to distinguish knowledge deficits from careless errors and assign focused corrective actions
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent support to escalate concerns and refine tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Producing reports that remain unread or ignored
  • Functioning exclusively in the background without direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic accountability to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Conducting unfocused tutoring sessions that lack diagnostic intent
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing emerging student challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning outcomes for assigned student cohorts.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training role with a documented outcome or feedback
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (occasional tutoring does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analysis and interpersonal work
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly with students and parents
  • Proven use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency gains
