Learning Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for individuals who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability.

2 Hour Learning compresses a full day of traditional instruction into concentrated, results-driven learning cycles. Success in this model depends on academic decisions that are accurate, timely, and owned from start to finish. This position exists to enable that: transforming raw student data into actionable insight and delivering direct, trust-based coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where analytical rigor meets personal engagement. At times, you'll be reviewing performance metrics to identify emerging risks and support placements with sound rationale. At others, you'll be working directly with students, diagnosing misunderstandings in the moment and helping them progress before small challenges escalate into serious setbacks. This is an active, outcome-focused role—not one centered on passive documentation.

This position suits those who seek immediate evidence of their impact. If you value ownership, enjoy working closely with students, and are motivated by enabling children to learn twice as efficiently through sharper decision-making, this environment will suit you well.

Apply if you want your contributions to be visible within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Review and interpret student performance data to generate clear, actionable academic reports that enable timely intervention
  • Take ownership of academic outcomes for a designated student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessments, and subsequent actions
  • Lead focused academic support sessions designed to uncover root causes and eliminate learning obstacles in the moment
  • Facilitate post-assessment coaching to distinguish between conceptual gaps and execution errors, then assign precise corrective steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and parent support teams to flag emerging risks and refine systems or tools

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused or ignored
  • Functioning exclusively in a behind-the-scenes capacity with no direct student engagement
  • Transferring academic responsibility to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Delivering broad tutoring sessions without targeted diagnostic intent
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing developing student challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning outcomes for your assigned student cohort.

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented results or feedback
  • At least 1 year of sustained, direct experience working with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring is not sufficient)
  • Background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles that integrate analytical work with interpersonal interaction
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charting functions
  • High emotional intelligence and the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
  • Demonstrated application of AI to analyze data or automate processes with measurable improvements in efficiency
