Curriculum Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

If you think education should operate with greater speed, precision, and clear accountability, this position is designed for you.

2 Hour Learning compresses the academic content that conventional schools distribute throughout an entire day into concentrated, results-driven learning cycles. This model succeeds only when academic choices are accurate, prompt, and managed from beginning to end. This role is built to achieve that: transform complex student data into decisive action, and combine it with direct, high-confidence student coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where data interpretation meets personal engagement. In one instance, you're reviewing performance metrics to identify risk signals early and support placement decisions with sound rationale. In the next, you're working one-on-one with a student, diagnosing misunderstanding in the moment and guiding them forward before minor issues escalate into meaningful setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation or reporting. You hold accountability for results.

This position is intended for individuals who want to witness the effect of their reasoning without delay. If you succeed through ownership, value working directly with learners, and find satisfaction in helping students learn twice as efficiently through sharper decisions, this environment will suit you.

Apply if you want your contributions to register by the end of the week, not the end of the term.

What you will be doing

  • Review student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic reports that initiate timely interventions
  • Take full ownership of academic outcomes for a designated student cohort, including placement, testing strategy, and follow-through actions
  • Deliver fast-turnaround academic rescue sessions that pinpoint underlying causes and eliminate learning obstacles in real time
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish knowledge deficits from careless errors and prescribe targeted corrective steps
  • Work alongside academic leadership and parent support to flag emerging risks and refine tools or operational processes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Producing reports that remain unused
  • Operating exclusively in back-office functions without direct student engagement
  • Delegating academic ownership to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Facilitating generic tutoring sessions lacking clear diagnostic intent
  • Delaying response to developing student concerns by weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and student-facing interventions that demonstrably accelerate learning outcomes for your assigned student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training capacity with documented outcomes or feedback
  • Minimum 1 year of sustained, hands-on experience working directly with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this criterion)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles that blend analytical and interpersonal responsibilities
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in both Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced competency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charting
  • High emotional intelligence and the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and parents
  • Demonstrated application of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with quantifiable efficiency improvements
