Curriculum Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

This role is designed for those who believe education must operate with greater speed, precision, and clear accountability.

2 Hour Learning condenses what conventional schools distribute across a full day into concentrated, results-driven learning sequences. Sustaining this model demands academic choices that are accurate, swift, and fully owned from start to finish. This position fulfills that need: transforming raw student performance information into decisive action while delivering direct, trust-based student coaching that eliminates obstacles quickly.

You will operate where data analysis meets personal engagement. In one instance, you'll be reviewing performance metrics to identify emerging risks and defend placement decisions with sound reasoning. In another, you'll be working directly with a student, pinpointing misunderstandings as they arise and guiding them forward before minor setbacks escalate into significant failures. This is an active, outcome-driven position—not one focused on passive observation or delayed reporting.

This position suits individuals who seek immediate visibility into the impact of their decisions. If ownership energizes you, if you value direct work with students, and if you find satisfaction in enabling children to learn twice as efficiently through superior decision-making, this environment will align with your strengths.

Consider applying if you want your contributions to be measurable within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Review and analyze student performance information to generate clear, actionable academic reports that enable prompt interventions
  • Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, including decisions on placement, assessments, and subsequent actions
  • Facilitate focused academic intervention sessions that uncover underlying issues and eliminate learning obstacles immediately
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish genuine knowledge deficits from simple errors and prescribe precise follow-up steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and family engagement teams to flag risks and refine operational tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that remain unused or fail to inform decisions
  • Operating exclusively in a back-office capacity without direct student contact
  • Delegating academic responsibility to classroom instructors, tutors, or families
  • Conducting broad tutoring sessions lacking clear diagnostic objectives
  • Allowing weeks to pass before addressing developing student challenges

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic intelligence and direct student interventions that produce measurable improvements in learning outcomes for your designated student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 1 year in a coaching, instructional, or training role with a documented outcome or feedback
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience working closely with K–8 students (occasional tutoring does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated experience in data science, education, EdTech, or student support roles combining analysis and interpersonal work
  • Fluent spoken and written communication in Ukrainian and English
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charts
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust quickly with students and parents
  • Proven use of AI to analyze data or automate workflows with measurable efficiency gains
