Enrichment Teacher   $60,000 USD/year

Description

  • Hybrid AZ · W2 · $60K/yr

Licensed educators who want to shift from managing classrooms to transforming student lives should keep reading.

Imagine a teaching role where lesson plans, lectures, and grading no longer define your day—replaced instead by a singular focus on mentoring young people toward confidence and capability.

Unbound Academy has redesigned what teaching means. This hybrid position supports a tuition-free Arizona virtual charter school where worksheets give way to experiential learning and personal development takes priority. Core academics are completed independently by students in two concentrated daily hours using AI-powered platforms. The remainder of their day centers on building practical skills through facilitated workshops, coaching sessions, and discovery.

You won't deliver scripted content or monitor a virtual classroom for compliance. Instead, you'll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, collaborate meaningfully, and develop as individuals. Your role will involve guiding them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness practices, and complex problem-solving—while cultivating their independence, self-assurance, and executive capabilities.

This opportunity is not designed for educators attempting to recreate conventional schooling online. It's intended for licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, embrace a hybrid structure, and engage students in ways that genuinely equip them for future success. If classroom administrative tasks no longer fulfill you and you're seeking the most impactful work of your professional life, continue reading.

  • Partnering with colleagues to design and refine project-based learning frameworks on an ongoing basis
  • Establishing a secure, energized environment where every student feels recognized, stretched, and inspired to develop

What you will NOT be doing

  • Instructing core academic content; adaptive AI tutoring systems manage those subjects
  • Presenting scripted lessons or operating within a traditional classroom framework
  • Evaluating worksheets, distributing homework assignments, or creating standardized lesson plans
