Student Success Specialist   $60,000 USD/year

Description

If you're convinced that education must operate with greater speed, precision, and accountability, this position is designed for you.

2 Hour Learning condenses what conventional schools distribute over an entire day into tightly focused, results-driven learning sessions. This model succeeds only when academic decisions are sharp, timely, and fully owned from start to finish. This role is built to deliver that: transform unstructured student data into decisive action, and combine it with direct, trust-based student coaching that eliminates obstacles immediately.

You will operate at the meeting point of data interpretation and personal engagement. In one instance, you're examining performance metrics to identify risk signals early and support placements with well-reasoned justification. In the next, you're working directly with a student, diagnosing misunderstandings on the spot and guiding them forward before minor struggles escalate into genuine setbacks. This is not a role centered on passive observation. You own the results.

This position suits individuals who want to witness the effect of their decisions right away. If you are energized by ownership, value direct student engagement, and find satisfaction in enabling children to learn twice as efficiently through sharper decision-making, this environment will suit you.

Apply if you want your contributions to show impact within days, not months.

What you will be doing

  • Examine student performance metrics to generate clear, actionable academic insights that drive prompt interventions
  • Take full accountability for academic results within your assigned student cohort, including placement decisions, testing actions, and follow-through
  • Facilitate fast-turnaround academic support sessions that pinpoint underlying causes and eliminate learning barriers in the moment
  • Lead post-assessment coaching conversations to distinguish between true comprehension gaps and simple errors, then assign focused corrective steps
  • Partner with academic leadership and family support teams to flag risks and refine tools or workflows

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating reports that sit unused
  • Operating exclusively in the background without direct student contact
  • Transferring academic accountability to teachers, tutors, or families
  • Delivering generic tutoring without clear diagnostic intent
  • Delaying response to student challenges by weeks

Key responsibilities

Provide precise, timely academic analysis and direct student interventions that demonstrably improve learning outcomes for your assigned student groups.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a coaching, teaching, or training capacity with documented results or formal feedback
  • At least 1 year of sustained, hands-on experience working directly with K–8 students (sporadic tutoring does not meet this standard)
  • Proven background in data science, education, EdTech, or student support positions that blend analytical work with interpersonal engagement
  • Fluent verbal and written proficiency in both Ukrainian and English
  • Advanced capability in Google Sheets, including use of lookups, filters, pivot tables, and visual data tools
  • Strong emotional awareness and the capacity to establish trust rapidly with students and their families
  • Documented application of AI to analyze datasets or streamline processes with measurable productivity improvements
