Site Operations Coordinator   $90,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This position requires your presence on-site at one of our campus locations.

You are the individual who ensures everything functions seamlessly. A campus that operates without friction allows students to feel secure, keeps staff productive, and builds parental confidence in the institution. This level of excellence is no accident. It results from someone consistently managing countless moving pieces each day—with precision, speed, and genuine attention.

Alpha is creating one of the world's most forward-thinking school models. We integrate demanding academics, technology-driven instruction, and elevated standards for both students and adults. This position ensures the campus's non-instructional operations meet the same high bar set in our learning environments.

In this capacity, you hold responsibility for the operational pulse of the campus. Your scope includes community engagement, campus security, facility and logistical coordination, and daily technology oversight. At any given moment, you might organize a safety exercise, troubleshoot a device malfunction, onboard a staff hire, or respond to a parent inquiry. You are not simply maintaining the status quo—you are building trust and reliability.

This is an active, campus-based position suited for someone who excels in fast-paced settings, remains composed during challenges, and is committed to upholding exceptional service standards. If you seek a role where your choices directly influence student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this opportunity delivers genuine accountability and measurable impact.

What you will be doing

  • Acting as a central contact for parents, students, and staff to deliver clear, prompt, and courteous communication
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry management, health response, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising day-to-day campus activities such as attendance tracking, facility coordination, transportation arrangements, and front-office workflows
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to promote seamless operational integration
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, functioning as the on-site technical contact and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or overseeing academic programming
  • Mentoring Guides or contributing to curriculum planning
  • Operating in a limited, single-task clerical capacity
  • Performing routine, unchanging duties from a stationary workstation
  • Delegating issues without taking responsibility for their resolution

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth, secure, and effective campus operations that continuously elevate the experience and satisfaction levels of students, staff, and families.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • A minimum of 1 year in office coordination, facilities management, site operations, or comparable operational capacity
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology troubleshooting, device oversight, and user account management
  • Excellent communication abilities with the capacity to interact professionally with parents, staff, students, and external vendors
  • Capability to juggle competing priorities while preserving accuracy and thoroughness
  • Availability to work on-site at one of our campuses: Greenwich, CT; Bethesda, MD; Santa Barbara, CA; Boston, MA — or willingness to relocate
  • Employment authorization in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
