As EVP of Finance, you are the experienced executive in a global finance leadership role. Reporting to the COO and CFO, you will lead an organization of 100 global finance professionals executing all the core functions including accounting, FP&A, order to cash, etc. You will also serve as a key member of the Global Executive Team. In this role, you will interface regularly with our executives across the business, and work closely with our Fortune 500 customers. As an experienced finance leader, you will use your excellent English communication skills to engage your colleagues and our clients.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As EVP of Finance, you will be managing a team and owning processes in a global finance organization.

Reporting to the COO and CFO you will seamlessly run an area of a finance function such as OTC or Controllership, being fully prepared to lead a team of 100+ finance professionals. You will also serve as a key member of the Global Executive Team.

Crossover acquires a new software or IT services company every week. You will play a significant role in the acquisition of some of these organizations and will be expected to lead the transformation of an acquired company in your field of financial expertise, within a 90-day time frame.

One of our key challenges is simplifying, standardizing and automating our finance processes. You will have to take immediate ownership, establish metrics and structure improvement goals to streamline the processes assigned to you, achieving industry excellence in performance and business value delivered.

We also expect you to be an expert at setting stretch goals and to drive metrics-based weekly productivity improvements in a 100% remote working environment. You will continuously improve the quality of your team output in a centralized structure; hiring, coaching and managing up to 100+ individual contributors. You will leverage your financial expertise, knowledge, and judgment to set a personal standard for excellence.

It is critical that you are an experienced professional with excellent English communication skills, and can effectively manage senior relationships.

 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a 100+ person, entirely remote Finance organization

Own the finance integration and transformation of acquired companies at high-velocity M&A.

Drive productivity improvements through hands-on deep-diving and innovating across finance teams who specialize in:

FP&A, Controlling, Finance IT Systems, and Data Imports

Statutory Audits under US GAAP and IFRS

Operations including Treasury, OTC, PTP, GL, and Tax

Acquisitions

 
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of Investment Banking experience

2+ years experience of managing international teams totaling 10+ finance professionals

Successful track record as the CFO or SVP of Finance for a business division (IT industry preferred)

Experience with large-scale ERP systems (Netsuite and/or Intacct preferred)

Relevant bachelor's or master's degree plus an MBA from a 10 top school

  • What is the main challenge for the Finance function?

    Over the long term, the main challenge is the accelerated growth through acquisitions and ensuring that we maintain our vision of ongoing simplified central infrastructure, which is the essential enabler for acquisitions. The second challenge is different time zones and cultures. In the short term, we need to implement and fully integrate the central systems and procedures to achieve this process. Due to the high number and growing complexity of acquisitions, we are setting ourselves aggressive goals to meet these challenges.

    Software companies between $5-100M in annual turnover

    As many companies move to a shared service center construct, including remote offices with merged international teams, Trilogy has adopted all of this and more utilizing an advanced cloud-based system to enable a global network of remote Crossover partners. We run a centralization project to ensure that all finance tasks are performed end-to-end in one system - NetSuite ERP + SalesForce CRM.

    As goals are extremely aggressive, this is not a problem.
