What you will be doing

  • Designing and refining test content that meets high educational standards using psychometrics and generative AI tools
  • Creating AI-driven assessment rubrics to evaluate test content and learning materials for depth, alignment, and educational impact
  • Ensuring learning content is engaging, accurate, and effective through quality control measures
  • Analyzing student data and learning analytics to pinpoint knowledge gaps and improve our curriculum
  • Working with subject-matter experts to enhance educational offerings, including test and instructional content
  • Applying learning science and mastery-based principles to advance our curriculum and assessment methods
  • Engaging in our "second brain" knowledge-sharing practices to contribute to and benefit from team expertise

What you will NOT be doing

  • Manually creating test content or curriculum materials—AI tools will be your primary resource for content creation
  • Developing code for system automation—your focus will be on learning measurement and content design, while engineers handle technical tasks
  • Working in isolation—this role involves active collaboration with diverse teams

Key responsibilities

Utilize psychometric expertise to develop AI-assisted test content that is personalized, rigorous, and aligned with educational standards. Contribute to enhancing our learning ecosystem through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven insights.

Candidate requirements

  • Expertise in areas such as psychometrics, educational measurement, assessment design, test creation, item writing, cognitive psychology, educational data analysis, Item Response Theory, or computer adaptive testing
  • Proven experience applying these principles in real-world settings
  • Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant field
  • Strong grasp of learning science principles and mastery-based approaches
  • Proficiency with AI tools for educational content development or the ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • User-centric mindset with a keen eye for content evaluation in terms of appropriateness, accuracy, and relevance
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across various teams and disciplines
  • Passion for educational innovation and dedication to enhancing learning outcomes
