We're on the hunt for a social media virtuoso who understands the delicate alchemy of engagement, virality, and authentic brand building. You'll be the sherpa guiding 50 ambitious teens through the ever-changing landscape of digital influence, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and battle-tested growth strategies. What you will be doing

  • Design and lead immersive learning experiences that transform students into strategic content creators
  • Provide personalized mentorship on leveraging AI tools for content ideation, creation, and optimization
  • Facilitate the transformation of students' passion areas into distinctive personal brands
  • Cultivate data literacy by teaching students to identify and track meaningful performance indicators
  • Broker valuable connections between students and established digital influencers
  • Impart battle-tested strategies that deliver results in today's algorithm-driven landscape

What you will NOT be doing

  • Recycling yesterday's social media strategies that no longer drive engagement
  • Chasing superficial metrics that don't translate to real influence or impact
  • Managing the institution's social media presence or marketing efforts
  • Drowning in paperwork and bureaucratic processes

Key responsibilities

Champion student success by equipping them with the tools, strategies, and mindset to build genuine online communities centered around their unique expertise, while simultaneously developing marketable digital skills that translate to real-world opportunities.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record of social media excellence, whether through personal brand building, client success stories, or organizational growth
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and nurture vibrant online communities
  • Intimate familiarity with emerging platforms, features, and algorithmic patterns
  • Proficiency with modern content creation suites and AI enhancement tools
  • Exceptional ability to connect with, inspire, and motivate Generation Z creators
  • Verifiable success in building your own significant digital presence
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with compelling presentation abilities
  • Commitment to working on-campus in Austin, TX (relocation assistance available)
