You will be a customer-facing executive leader looking to take our brand-new product to market and get it to grow. We have an existing tech team, and the COO will handle operational details. For two years, you will work closely with the founder (a successful serial entrepreneur), honing your product, growth, marketing, strategy, and leadership skills as we go from zero to one, after which you will be ready to take over as CEO.

We want someone interested in gifted and talented education who thinks there's a better way - maybe this was a frustration you had growing up, or perhaps you came to understand the problem as a parent. You must love education innovation and be frustrated by how little research is applied in schools (i.e. Bloom’s Two Sigma, mastery-based learning, spaced repetition).

Software is eating the world, and the education industry is next. So if you are a "doer" and problem-solver, ready to make a dent in this universe - we want to hear from you!

What you will be doing
  • Getting the world to understand what we do and how we do it, while pursuing partnerships and staying close to the customer
  • Driving and debottlenecking growth marketing, customer management, and staffing as we scale 
What you will NOT be doing
  • Planning without execution
  • Schmoozing funders, investors, or clients
  • Handling internal operations, scaling processes, or identifying areas to automate
Key Responsibilities
  • Driving the product’s launch to market and ensuring an excellent customer experience
Candidate Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role (VP-level or higher) at early-stage B2C startups in externally-focused domains: partnerships, marketing, sales, customer relations, or similar
  • An expert communicator across various mediums
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with and build trust with diverse stakeholders
  • A desire to own the growth of a startup and deliver a great product to market
  • Experience with Gifted & Talented students - either you were one or you’re raising one now - and a desire to disrupt the education system for their benefit
