Description

Telecom software still runs on a broken playbook: bloated BSS/OSS stacks, multi-year deployments, endless customization, and vendors that treat delay as normal. Operators are being pushed to monetize 5G, launch MVNOs faster, modernize wholesale, and escape legacy lock-in, but the systems they depend on were built to slow change down.

Totogi is built differently, and this isn’t another BSS vendor role:

  • Three products, zero slideware: You’ll demo a serverless 5G Charging engine, a cloud-native Wholesale BSS platform, and the Telco Ontology: an AI-powered knowledge graph that lets LLMs understand a customer’s entire telco estate. These are real, live products. Not roadmap slides.
  • Weeks, not years: Totogi runs as SaaS on AWS. No more defending 18-month implementations. You’ll show customers something that deploys fast, and prove it live.
  • You own the technical win: Discovery, demos, solution shaping, RFPs. You’re the one making the technical case. Not a support function. Not an overlay.
  • You’re up against the incumbents: Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia — with a product advantage they can’t match on architecture, speed, or cost.

This role is about winning technical deals. You’ll run tailored demos, lead discovery, shape solutions, and produce sharp RFP responses across all three Totogi products. You need enough telco depth to speak credibly about charging, billing, CRM, product catalogs, integrations, 5G interfaces, migration constraints, and rate complexity and connect that detail to business value in the same conversation.

You’ll operate where product, sales, and customer reality collide. Your output should move deals forward, enable clean scoping, and translate into real revenue. If you’ve spent years in presales, solution architecture, or telecom transformation and want to sell something genuinely better than legacy alternatives, you should apply.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting customer demos, illustrating the interface and capabilities of Totogi’s solutions
  • Interviewing customer SMEs to identify pain points, technical requirements, and proof points
  • Developing solution scopes for the Professional Services team, mapping the customer’s requirements to Totogi’s product solutions
  • Crafting RFP responses that articulate how Totogi's products meet the technical and commercial criteria in formal procurement processes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Selling products to customers
  • Writing generic Solution Scopes that don’t take into account each customer’s specific requirements
  • Training sales teams or completing administrative tasks

Key responsibilities

  • Closed technical wins that advance deals across Totogi's three product lines (Telco Ontology, AI-Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform)

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5 years of presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering experience in the telco BSS/OSS domain
  • Experience leading technical sales cycles for charging, billing, BSS deals, and the lead-to-cash process
  • Experience delivering compelling product demos and presenting to senior technical and business stakeholders
  • Experience writing code that interacts with APIs (GraphQL, REST)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule for this global role, with customers and prospects primarily in APAC and partially in EMEA and Americas
