At gt.school, we empower gifted and talented learners to complete high school by 8th grade (5-10x faster than traditional methods). You'll leverage AI and adaptive learning to personalize each student's journey, developing not just their academic prowess but their emotional intelligence and resilience.
We're looking for coaches who see themselves in our students: ultra-high achievers who understand the drive to accomplish more, sooner. This isn't a teaching job. You're a coach and mentor who uses AI tools and motivational techniques to help gifted kids complete high school years early. No classroom management, no traditional instruction.

What you will be doing
- Inspire and mentor gifted learners to complete high school by 8th grade through personalized, accelerated learning pathways
- Coach students on life skills (resilience, grit, public speaking, focus) alongside academic goals
- Leverage AI tools to track progress, tailor learning experiences, and personalize instruction
- Motivate students to advance in adaptive learning apps and achieve ambitious learning goals
- Collaborate with a team reimagining education for high-achieving students
Candidate requirements
- Willing to work in-person in Austin (Georgetown), TX
- Demonstrated history of academic excellence (National Merit Scholar, academic Olympiads, prestigious scholarships, dual-enrollment, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching gifted and talented students or high-achieving youth
- Daily usage of generative AI tools in an educational context (personalizing lessons, creating assessments, adapting instruction)
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
