Vice President of SaaSOps

We are looking for an experienced Senior SaaSOps Leader, who brings outstanding managerial, technical and hands-on capabilities to run a cloud-based infrastructure within a multi-million-dollar revenue enterprise with SaaS products.

The VP of SaaSOps should have the ability to multi-task, be organized to meet tight deadlines, ensure availability and uptime, and be extremely process focused to excel in a fast paced environment.

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for building and managing high-performance teams, running deep dives to resolve blockers and ensure the teams are delivering on daily tasks outlined in the weekly targets.

The Vice President of SaaSOps ($200K/year) will be expected to ensure the availability, uptime and cost optimization of our high-quality products. You should have an always-on mentality, a passion for metrics-driven decisions, and a desire to execute drastically differentiated technical operations processes using cutting edge technologies.

You will be responsible for building out a globally dispersed technical operation using distributed teams and an ultra-efficient application hosting infrastructure. Your first priority will be to scale these activities – while continuing to meet tight, daily SLAs. Priority two will focus on long-term planning to drive continual improvement.

Additionally, we expect you to lead deep-dives into weekly metrics and escalations and leverage your broad Technical Operations Management experience to raise the level of the team performance in an atypical fast paced environment.

  • Running deep-dives into weekly metrics and escalations

  • The building, developing, engaging and coaching a team from a global talent pool

  • Leading meetings to communicate team updates, process changes, and improvements

Manages all customer-facing and internally focused SaaSOps product environments and service delivery activities

Develops metrics to enable effective measurement of key performance indicators

Develops and manages quarterly SaaSOps budget

Develops long-range staffing and resource planning for organic and inorganic growth

Develops, maintains and executes a clear integration playbook for SaaSOps inherited from future acquisitions

Establish world-class standards and technical operations to deliver consistent, high-quality products across dispersed, global teams

Implement operations management strategies to achieve world-class productivity and cost efficiency


Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (MS or Ph.D. preferred) is mandatory

+15 years of experience in IT Operations Management

At least 3 years of SaaS Ops/Tech Ops/Infrastructure Ops/DevOps experience

+3 years of experience managing Cloud Infrastructure Organizations (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS Ops)

Proven leadership experience of building and managing globally dispersed teams with a size of 50+ heads

International experience

Cloud-based hosting experience with Amazon EC2 a significant plus

Experience with/or knowledge of CRM tools for tracking case/ticket lifecycle and KPI reporting

International experience

Demonstrated success as a problem solver, result-oriented, self-starter

Comfortable “working virtually” with teammates and customers around the world. We do a lot of Skype and video conferencing

Good proficiency in English language


Our investment in you begins with an initial 30 day paid training program.

You will learn valuable fundamental skills around how to interview subject matter experts, determine which ideas are most important, and simplify these in writing as concise technical decisions. We build on these skills throughout the training and learn to combine them effectively to create applicable product specifications. And finally, you will tackle a capstone project under real-world working conditions.

Throughout your training, you will get daily feedback to accelerate learning and growth far beyond typical classrooms or training programs.

A hiring event is a scheduled online event where all our relevant testing relating to a role is conducted on the same day. Submissions received during the event are graded the following week, and successful candidates notified if they have progressed to the next round which is an online interview with a Hiring Manager.
