The CER is responsible for the Candidate's entire application journey, from lead to opportunity. This role is key in Crossover's Sales Model as the CER is the face of the company towards its future partners.

As a CER, you will manage a diverse portfolio of roles, and interact with and form relationships with multicultural candidates from around the world. Our process follows a weekly cadence, where you will be agile and adapt to the fast-moving and constantly evolving model of work. You will be encouraged to bring new ideas to your team in order to streamline the processes and increase overall productivity.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Candidate Experience Representative (CER), your actions will have a direct impact on achieving Crossover's mission: Building a global community of the top 1% talent in the world.

The CER will manage an extensive portfolio of roles that Crossover is recruiting. On a daily basis, the CER will derive the new applicants within their pipelines, and be responsible for the candidates’ entire application journey throughout several layers of communication and follow-ups, including reaching out to candidates via email campaigns and phone and corresponding with internal stakeholders. The CER will be responsible for following the defined workflows and ensuring that the Marketing Qualified Leads converts into deliverable work units. 

The CER will track the Online Hiring Event registrants for their assigned events throughout the week, and prepare to conduct webinars on Saturdays. The preparation will include correspondence with the various stakeholders, preparing the presentation and content for the webinar, mastering the knowledge of their assigned roles to be able to conduct a live Q&A session, while ensuring compliance to meet the quality bar.

On a daily basis, the CER's strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of the roles & its requirements will enable him/her to drive the best candidates throughout the application journey.

 
ONLINE HIRING EVENT

A hiring event is a scheduled online event where all our relevant testing relating to a role is conducted on the same day. Submissions received during the event are graded the following week, and successful candidates notified if they have progressed to the next round which is an online interview with a Hiring Manager.

 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Customer Experience Representative, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing the end-to-end application journey to provide the best recruitment experience for your portfolio of candidates Cold calling hot inbound leads to convert them into successful applicants

Analyzing your sales performance (leads conversion) and designing your action plans to ensure consistency in meeting your targets

Owning and running Crossover’s online hiring events and turning them into the best employment experience for thousands of candidates around the world

Increasing conversion rates by using your ability to discover different engagement tools

Tracking the performance of multiple email and marketing campaigns

Evangelizing the concept of remote work

 
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

To be a great Customer Experience Representative you need to meet the following requirements:

Flawless English communication skills and public speaking experience will be the core requirements for success in this position

At least 3 years of experience in IT sales (including 1 year cold calling inbound leads)

At least 3 years of sales-related public speaking experience (conferences, seminars, webinars, etc.)

Someone who enjoys personal communication and will get personal satisfaction from helping others find the right position with our company

Someone who can quickly gain a familiarity with the requirements of the positions we are trying to fill, and convey that understanding to the candidates

Drive, charisma, and charm

Strong Analytical Skills and an advanced level of proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets

Comfortable using Skype, G Suite, Google Drive, and similar cloud-based tools for communication and work product

Having an eye for design and ability to create professional presentations for any audience

Connections in the IT industry will be considered a plus

Willing and able to work weekends and take some weekdays off instead

Experience with configuring and using high-quality broadcasting hardware equipment

Have access to the following hardware equipment:

Blazing fast internet connection (20+ Megabits/second)

High-end computers for showing videos (8+ GB RAM in an Apple Computer, or 16+ GB RAM in a Windows Computer, i5 or i7 multi-core or equivalent processor, high-end GPU)

1080p HD webcam

High-quality microphone with noise cancelling feature

  • Who does the Candidate Experience Representative report to?

    The CER will report to the Candidate Experience Representative manager.

  • What type of tools will I be using on the job?

    Zoom, Skype, G Suite (Google), Google Drive and other cloud-based communication tools such as VOIP.

  • What does success in this role look like?

    Driving Marketplace Qualified Leads to complete testing.

  • Will I be required to work weekends?

    Yes, Online Hiring Events are hosted on Saturdays and CER will be scheduled to work up to 3 Saturdays per month.

  • What time zone will I be required to work in?

    You will be able to work in your own time zone, but should be able to make necessary adjustments in accordance with the timezones of candidates you will need to contact. At least 4 hrs of your working time should also overlap with the team manager's.
