As a Youth Program Coordinator, you'll translate the discipline, grit, and leadership that defined your athletic career into transformative guidance for young scholar-athletes. Your presence alone communicates what's possible when talent meets tenacity.

Note: This is an in-person position at our Austin, TX campus. Relocation assistance is available for exceptional candidates.

What you will be doing

  • Ignite daily motivation through high-energy morning kickoffs that set the tone for excellence and purposeful achievement
  • Deliver personalized coaching on problem-solving methodologies that empower students to overcome academic and personal challenges
  • Orchestrate afternoon life skills and athletic sessions that deliberately connect sports principles to academic success and character development
  • Provide strategic mentorship that helps students navigate social dynamics while maintaining their commitment to excellence
  • Model the elite mindset that transformed you from athlete to achiever, demonstrating how athletic principles translate to lifelong success

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering conventional classroom instruction or subject-specific tutoring—your focus is developing learning strategies and mental frameworks
  • Observing from a distance—your role demands active engagement and demonstration of the principles you teach
  • Implementing standardized approaches—you'll leverage your understanding of individual motivation to customize your coaching methodology
  • Focusing solely on athletic performance—your mission extends to developing complete scholar-athletes who excel in all arenas

Key responsibilities

You will architect the transformation of promising young scholar-athletes into individuals who possess the mental fortitude, strategic thinking, and unwavering discipline required to achieve extraordinary results in academics, athletics, and life beyond our campus.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Proven athletic excellence at elite levels (Olympic, professional, national/world championship, or D1 collegiate competition)
  • Demonstrated academic achievement that complements your athletic accomplishments
  • Exceptional ability to inspire, motivate, and energize young people toward purposeful action
  • Profound understanding of how athletic principles translate to personal development and life success
  • Commitment to relocate to Austin, TX (relocation assistance available)
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in educational environments or youth sports coaching programs
  • Academic background in psychology, education, or related disciplines that enhance mentorship capabilities
