Learning Strategist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Consider the challenge of transforming history and geography into subjects that captivate students and deepen their understanding of the world. At 2 Hour Learning, we are redefining educational practice—building new pathways for students to engage with social studies in meaningful ways.

We seek a skilled professional to reimagine how students learn core history and geography concepts through advanced AI tools. If you can accelerate comprehension and turn ancient empires or planetary ecosystems into compelling learning experiences, you have the chance to reshape social studies education and strengthen students' connection to humanity's collective narrative.

What you will be doing

  • Leveraging AI technology to create interactive simulations that render historical moments and geographical concepts vivid and lasting for learners.
  • Examining learning analytics to identify trends that shape adaptive learning paths, making each student's educational experience both personalized and impactful.
  • Building advanced digital tools that animate historical personalities and world regions, including virtual time-travel experiences and immersive cultural investigations.
  • Working with a cross-functional team of educators and engineers to develop novel strategies that transform the teaching and learning of social studies.
  • Converting intricate historical and geographic information into accessible, compelling material enriched by AI-powered customization.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing conventional curricula or becoming mired in administrative tasks—this position centers on innovation and tangible outcomes.
  • Working in isolation—you will collaborate with a dedicated group of specialists focused on advancing educational practice.
  • Relying on traditional instructional formats—your contributions will redefine students' engagement with history and geography.

Key responsibilities

Produce measurable gains in students' command of social studies material, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential historical and geographic concepts through pioneering, AI-enhanced methods.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.
