Curriculum Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Embark on a thrilling expedition through time and space! At 2 Hour Learning, we're not just teaching history and geography—we're crafting immersive journeys that transport students across centuries and continents. Are you ready to be the architect of these extraordinary educational adventures?

We're seeking a visionary Curriculum Developer to harness the power of AI and redefine how students connect with our world's rich tapestry of stories and landscapes. If you can turn dusty textbooks into captivating digital quests and transform complex global patterns into unforgettable learning experiences, we want you on our crew of educational innovators!

What you will be doing

  • Conjure up AI-powered time machines and virtual globes that make history and geography leap off the screen and into students' imaginations.
  • Decode the secrets of learning by diving deep into data, crafting personalized pathways that turn every student into a master explorer of knowledge.
  • Breathe life into long-gone civilizations and far-flung places, creating digital marvels that make Marco Polo's adventures seem like a walk in the park.
  • Join forces with a league of extraordinary minds to push the boundaries of social studies education, turning 'boring' into 'jaw-dropping'.
  • Distill centuries of human experience and Earth's vast complexities into bite-sized, AI-enhanced nuggets of wisdom that stick in students' minds like superglue.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Dusting off ancient scrolls or getting lost in a sea of paperwork—we're all about cutting-edge innovation here!
  • Flying solo on your mission—you'll be part of a dream team dedicated to educational revolution.
  • Rehashing the same old lesson plans—your creativity will be the spark that ignites a learning wildfire.

Key responsibilities

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Supercharge students' grasp of social studies, doubling their 'aha!' moments and halving their 'huh?' moments through the magic of AI-powered learning adventures.

Candidate requirements

  • A degree that proves you've conquered the realms of History, Geography, or a related field of study.
  • A track record of at least 3 years spent in the trenches of social studies education or curriculum development, with battle scars (aka achievements) to show for it.
  • The keen eye of a detective and the analytical prowess of a supercomputer when it comes to deciphering data.
  • Hands-on experience wielding AI tools in the educational arena, whether for conjuring content, adapting learning paths, or unraveling the mysteries of data.
  • The gift of gab that can turn the fall of empires and the rise of mountain ranges into tales as gripping as the latest blockbuster.
