In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of our AI-driven operational transformation, leveraging your expertise in cloud computing, automation, and AI to reshape how we execute mission-critical tasks. From planning and executing intricate infrastructure changes to developing custom agents and scripts, you'll drive efficiency and enhance decision-making processes, ensuring our cloud environment remains highly available, secure, and optimized for maximum performance.

What you will be doing

  • Strategize and implement the integration of LLMs and GPTs into Trilogy's cloud infrastructure to automate operational tasks and enhance decision-making processes across our portfolio of companies.
  • Develop cutting-edge agents and automation scripts that leverage GPTs to solve complex operational challenges and streamline workflows, driving efficiency and productivity. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies through AI integrations, continuously optimizing our operations.
  • Plan and execute complex changes to our cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to best practices while supporting the diverse needs of our portfolio companies.
  • Serve on coverage duty for 4 hours during your 8-hour shift, acting as the first line of defense by responding to monitoring alarms or alerts via phone, SMS, or email, following the SaaSOps defined process.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation every other weekend for 16 hours, ready to log in and begin troubleshooting within 5 minutes of receiving a critical alert.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Participating in endless meetings or dealing with bureaucratic roadblocks that hinder innovation and agility.
  • Adhering to rigid, outdated processes or methodologies that fail to leverage the transformative potential of AI and cloud technologies.
  • Focusing solely on database management or infrastructure maintenance without the opportunity to drive operational excellence and broad impact across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Innovate Trilogy's cloud infrastructure by integrating and utilizing Large Language Models and GPTs to automate operations, enhance decision-making, and streamline processes, thereby driving efficiency and supporting the strategic goals of our diverse portfolio of companies.

Candidate requirements

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, SQL databases, and AWS cloud services
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration and executing complex infrastructure changes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate intricate operational challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation scripts and cloud integration solutions
  • Expertise in integrating LLMs and GPTs into cloud-based applications
  • Capability to handle on-call responsibilities and rapid troubleshooting as part of the standard workweek
  • Available and willing to work on coverage duty during shifts and participate in on-call rotations every other weekend.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams
