Are you an expert in lead generation, but tired of roles that require you to manage accounts or close deals? Join a fully remote, rapidly growing EdTech startup and put your skills to use!

We are a stealth educational startup that provides online life skills classes for teens. We’ve got a successful entrepreneurship incubator and are adding exciting opportunities around investing and cryptocurrency. Our programs are 8-12 weeks in length and aren’t focused on academics.

As one of the early members of the team, your task will be to identify parents whose teens would be interested in our remote programs. You’ll develop a strategy for conducting online outreach, adapt the provided messaging to specific audiences, and generate leads. You will also plan and host online informational sessions and outreach events that give families a taste of our offerings.

What you will be doing

  • Prospect for parents using a variety of methods (social media, online groups, newsletters, local community groups, etc.)
  • Pitch our programming to parents
  • Promote virtual outreach sessions

What you will NOT be doing

  • Using a single channel to target parents (e.g., exclusively Facebook)
  • Targeting any & all parents - you’ll need to narrow down the pool to parents who are looking for programs like ours
  • Account management activities - other team members will work to convert leads into enrolled students

Key responsibilities

Generate parent leads interested in enrolling their teenagers in our education programs.

Candidate requirements

  • 2+ years in a sales, recruitment, business development, or equivalent position
  • Able to relate to parents' concerns about their children and credibly address them
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal & written
