Everywhere you look, kids are distracted by infinite streams of viral TikToks and trending memes. Resistance to youth culture is futile—so let’s join in the fun.

gt.school is the world’s most awesome after school program. We are on a mission to help gifted and talented (GT) kids escape orbit. Our fully remote program utilizes cutting-edge adaptive learning apps proven to deliver faster and better results than traditional methods, but even great content performs best with entertaining delivery from a live instructor.

That’s why we’re pointing at you, Spiderman. We need high-energy edutainers to swing on stage and lead live virtual sessions that mix learning with fun activities. Our platform provides all the content and lessons, so you don’t need to be a trained teacher or subject-matter expert. (In fact, please don’t be!) You just need to deliver the content and maximize kids’ engagement.

What you will be doing

  • Leading virtual live sessions for GT kids between 11 and 15 years old that facilitate learning through fun and engaging activities.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Making lesson plans or creating content. We give you a playbook with everything you need—then you bring it to life.
  • Helping with homework, managing kids’ behavior, or dealing with parents. This role is 100% about leading fun activities and curating the best hour of a GT kid’s day.

Motivate students and facilitate their learning through entertaining live sessions

Candidate requirements

  • Experience engaging kids in fun activities, such as in an afterschool program, summer camp, or mentorship capacity. (We will accept paid, volunteer, or internship experiences for this requirement.)
  • Able to relate to the interests and culture of 11-15 year olds in the US
  • Experience as a presenter or entertainer in digital platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)
